This new slipper from Scarpa is a fantastic addition to their shoe range being the first shoe to be made nearly entirely of Lorica. This material retains it shape meaning this shoe has little to no stretch allowing you to get a shoe that once fitted perfectly, will remain so.
The Slipper has been a favourite of both Percy & Sam over the last few months because of it's sensitivity, lightness and soft feel when standing on small holds. The addition of the new XS Grip2 vibram rubber helps create a shoe that is super sticky, soft, and very sensitive.

The Instinct Slipper is ideal for sport climbing and hard bouldering. The lightly down turned toe allows you to grab at holds on steep rock but the softness of the rubber on the shoe allows you to smear on the worse of holds. The use of Lorica means stretch is pretty much non-existent in this shoe once you find the right pair while the elastic band across the top of the foot allows a secure fit when heel hooking or toe-hooking.
A truly great shoe from Scarpa, this is bound to be a classic.
